CDBG - 2021 Community Opportunity Grant

 Notice of Funding Availability - Call for Grants

The City of Coeur d’Alene hereby gives Notice of Available Funding (NOFA) and invites competitive grant proposals for projects that benefit low-to-moderate income (LMI) people or neighborhoods, and/or promote job creation/economic development. Applications may be submitted for plan year period 2020.

Funding for the City’s CDBG Program is provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), (reference 24 CFR Part 570). Applicants must comply with all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. $223,392 in Community Opportunity Grant funding is available, with $44,073 maximum for public service projects. Other eligible projects will also be considered, including Public Facilities, Economic Development and LMI Affordable Housing.  Minimum proposal requests of $35,000 will be accepted for Public Service projects.

An Educational Workshop will be held in-person and virtually on August 19, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.  T

Grant proposals were due by 5:00 p.m. (PT) on September 24, 2021
