The City of Coeur d’Alene hereby gives Notice of Available Funding (NOFA) and invites competitive grant proposals for projects that benefit low-to-moderate income (LMI) people or neighborhoods, and/or promote job creation/economic development. Applications may be submitted for plan year period 2020.

Funding for the City’s CDBG Program is provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), (reference 24 CFR Part 570). Applicants must comply with all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. $210,444 in Community Opportunity Grant funding is available, with $49,000 maximum for public service projects, however, if the project is directly related to responding to, preparing or prevention of COVID-19, there may be up to the full $210,444 available and projects will first be considered for the remaining CARES Act CDBG-CV funds available. Other eligible projects will also be considered, including Public Facilities, Economic Development and LMI Affordable Housing.  Minimum proposal requests of $35,000 will be accepted for Public Service projects.
