Local Background Checks
If you are going overseas or adopting a child from another country, you may obtain a record check on yourself available at no charge. Adult arrests and/or citation information is available for any person, but keep in mind the record only contains information on file with the Coeur d'Alene Police. This means we cannot release the files of other police agencies or run national records checks for you.

This website will allow the general public to review a person’s criminal history in all 44 counties within the State of Idaho.  Also, computers are available for use in the basement of the Criminal Justice Building at 324 W Garden, for public access inquiries. The persons making inquiries will see all cases filed in Kootenai County.
