The Finance Department plays a key role in transparency of City financials and is responsible for the overall financial controls of the community's funds.

Coeur d'Alene, like other municipalities in Idaho, undergoes annual audits by an independent, third-party auditor of its financials in accordance with State and City laws. The City's financials are prepared in accordance with State and Federal laws.
