COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (AAP) FOR 2024

 

In anticipation of the City’s upcoming Annual Action Plan (AAP) for 2024, the City is actively seeking input from residents regarding community needs and grant funding recommendations. We invite you to participate by sharing your insights with the CDBG staff through a brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CdA-AAP

 

Key Points:

  • CDBG Funds Purpose: These funds support local community development initiatives, specifically benefiting low-to-moderate income (LMI) residents and neighborhoods.
  • Program Goals: The CDBG program aims to prevent or eliminate slum and blight, assist low- and moderate-income individuals, and address urgent community development needs.
  • Public Forum: Join us on June 28, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Ave, Conference Room 6, for a Public Forum. During this session, we will discuss how CDBG funds were utilized in previous program years and gather input on current needs and spending priorities for Plan Year 2024.
  • Draft Annual Action Plan: The draft Annual Action Plan for PY2024 will be available for review and comment for a period of 30 days from July 6, 2024 through August 6, 2024. The draft Plan will be available on the City’s website at cdaid.org/cdbg or in person at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 83814.
  • Public Hearing: On August 6, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., the City Council will hold a Public Hearing in the Library Community Room, 702 Front Ave. This is an opportunity for all residents to provide comments and feedback.
