After nine years of dedicated service, Eden Irgens has stepped down from her position as chairperson of the Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission. Eden was recognized this week for her tireless efforts to promote public art. “Eden came onto the Arts Commission at a critical time for the city,” said Steve Anthony, the city’s liaison to the commission. “She offered superior leadership and put 100 percent into her volunteer efforts on the board.” Board member Joe Sharnetsky was appointed chairman and Jennifer Drake will serve as vice chair.
