Directions: The parking lot is now open! See the map below to see the current trail system. Keep in mind the trails are a work in progress and are not finished. Watch for trail crews working and let them know if you want to walk through the area they are working on.

Fernan Lake Natural Open Space was donated to the City in 2011. This property currently has 3 hiking trail loops totaling over a mile in length. Eventually, trails will be constructed throughout the property that will total over 3 miles in length. No hunting or camping is allowed on this property.
