With the City of Coeur d'Alene's 523 different pieces of rolling stock the 4 ASE certified mechanics and fleet supervisor are a very busy crew. They are responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of the city fleet and manage a comprehensive city parts department. This includes such pieces of equipment such as loaders and graders from the street fleet, large ladder trucks,  and pumper trucks from fire fleet as well as the maintenance to all parks mowers and miscellaneous pickups and cars from other departments.
