The Inland Northwest Milestones program with regional historian Robert Singletary has been moved to June 29 due to a scheduling conflict.

The presentation – originally scheduled for June 22 -- will discuss the second incarnation of the Farragut Naval Training Center.

The June lecture looks at Farragut College and Technical Institute established at the site on Lake Pend Oreille near Bayview following WWII, but before the area became Farragut State Park.

The free lecture series is offered in partnership with the Museum of North Idaho in the Community Room at 7 p.m., usually on the fourth Thursday of each month. The final program will be presented on Nov. 30 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Subsequent programs will be:

* July 27: Coeur d’Alene Regattas.

* Aug. 24: Farming in North Idaho.

* Sept. 28: Inland Empire Electric Line.

* Oct. 26: Kirtland Cutter: Spokane’s Master Architect.
