Lateral Police Officers
Seeking highly motivated individuals committed to public safety and protecting the citizens of our community.
Current entry level starting hourly wage is $22.93. Lateral applicants will receive an hourly wage equal to 5 % above entry officer wage $24.08-$27.87, dependent on previous sworn experience and agency size. Patrol Division personnel work 10 hour and 40 minute shifts in a 28 day work cycle, during which officers work five days and have four days off. Officers have five days off every third rotation. The City of Coeur d'Alene is seeking an IT Systems Analyst Coordinator with the ability to perform highly skilled automation tasks in support of  our police departments systems. The incumbent is responsible for database analysis and design, evaluation of department automation needs, development of long-range plans, equipment and software acquisitions, assisting work groups in the evaluation and implementation of automation solutions, and managing automation projects that have a department wide impact.  Also performs a variety of professional duties to ensure maintenance is complete, assigned projects are completed in a timely manner and includes the supervision of the Applications Analyst. In addition, this class ensures availability of critical systems and plans for routine maintenance and replacement of integral parts while participating in the budget process for these needs.  These duties are in accordance with established policies and procedures set forth by the Information Systems Network Administrator, the department, and state and federal agencies including Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS).  This position requires an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Systems, or related field, or have taken at least 60 credit hours towards a degree  and four (4) years experience managing complex computer systems and databases; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.  Monthly salary is $4727  ($56722 annually), plus an excellent benefit package.  Application deadline is 5p.m. on June 30, 2017.  City of CDA Job Application EOE.


Part-Time Swim
Instructor. Swim instructor experience and lifeguard experience preferred.  Must be first aid/CPR certified.  Hourly wage is $15.00.

Youth Tennis Instructor to conduct our summer youth tennis lessons. Sports Officials
The city continuously accepts applications from those interested in officiating basketball and soccer.  Starting hourly wage is $9.00, 6-8 hours per week.  Requires confident personality, ability to work with parents and coaches and sports knowledge and background.
