Seed Starting, Transplanting Talk March 20

Celebrate the first day of spring by learning how to start and transplant the seeds for your garden Monday, March 20, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library.

Master Gardener Kathy McKeown from the University of Idaho Extension Service will discuss and demonstrate techniques for seed selection, seed-starting soil mixes, flats and pots, lighting, temperature and more for transplanting and optimum growth.

The program will be in the Gozzer Room at the library at 702 E. Front Avenue. The activity is also sponsored by the True to Seed seed-sharing project at the Coeur d’Alene Library.
