FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Dogs are not allowed in city parks. Dogs are allowed on-leash on the Centennial Trail, the Prairie Trail, the Atlas Trail, the Kathleen Trail, the hiking trails on Tubb's Hill, and on the Canfield Mountain trails. Dogs are also allowed on-leash on the paths in Coeur d'Alene City Park, McEuen Park, and Riverstone Park. There are five off-leash dog parks in Coeur d'Alene; Atlas Mill, Cherry Hill, McEuen, Northshire, and Riverstone.
Alcohol is not allowed in city parks with the exceptions of Riverstone Park, Coeur d'Alene City Park and McEuen Park by permit only. Email our office for more information.
All city parks open at 5am and close at 11pm
The Parks Department is located in City Hall, on the lower level, at 710 East Mullan Avenue in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.
Picnic shelters may be reserved on our website for private picnics, barbecues, etc. If you want to reserve a picnic shelter, click here to go to our Facility Reservations page. If you want to reserve the Riverstone Amphitheater or the Coeur d'Alene City Park Bandshell, please email our office.
