Envision CDA Online Survey

The City of Coeur d’Alene and CDA 2030 want to hear from you!  How should we direct future growth and how can we achieve priority goals in order to become your ideal Coeur d’Alene by the year 2040?

Envision Coeur d’Alene is seeking input on how to shape growth over the next 20 years to update the Coeur d’Alene Comprehensive Plan and CDA 2030 Vision and Implementation Plan. Using citizen input from the project kickoff in late 2019, recent online surveys, results from pop-up game nights, interviews with businesses and community leaders, and input from the community advisory committee and six focus groups, the planning process continues with a fun, interactive survey where participants get to determine where growth should occur and what types of land uses would be best for new development. The survey also asks for participants to share ideas for how to implement community priorities. This is where vision is put into action. What actions are needed to achieve our community goals? How would you implement the plan?

They can help you participate in the survey by phone or mail you a hard copy. Contact Sean Holm at the City’s Planning Department to request assistance.

The Envision Coeur d’Alene planning process started in the summer of 2019. The City and CDA 2030 have reached out to the community to create an advisory committee and issue-based focus groups to guide the planning process. There have been multiple ways for all community members to engage in the planning effort, including this survey, and there will be more ways to participate and provide feedback before the plan is completed.  The Plan is expected to be complete by late 2020 or early 2021.
