Commemorate 2020 Arbor Day with a Free Tree Seedling!

Event:  Arbor Day free tree seedling to the first 150 cars, or until they are gone.

Location: Landings Park parking lot, 3849 Long Meadow Lane, Coeur d’Alene. This event is organized by the Arbor Day of North Idaho non-profit organization in coordination with the CDA Parks department. Please enter the parking lot from the west and exit out the east end. (There is plenty of room to line up along the right side of street to the west.)

Date:  Saturday – May, 16, 2020

Time: 11:00 to 1:00 (or until seedlings run out). To maintain social distancing, you do not need to get out of your car.  1 seedling per car will be handed through the passenger side window.

Limited Amount - we only have about 150 seedlings, so we are limiting seedlings to 1 per car/family.

Seedling Description– seedlings will be either Sassafras or Black Gum (or Tupelo). Both of these species are hardy and have spectacular fall color. They are 12-24 inches tall and will be “packaged” in a plastic bag. They will have minimal root, so need to be planted as soon as possible.
