People doing business with the City of Coeur d’Alene can do so and still maintain “social distancing” with a new drop box installed near the front door to City Hall. City Administrator Troy Tymesen said the box was installed off the west side parking lot by city crews using a repurposed utility box that was previously damaged.
People are encouraged to use the box to drop off utility payments, but also use it to deliver information such as that for Planning and Zoning and building permits. The City also has drop boxes for utility payments in the City Hall parking lot off Eighth Street, at Silver Lake Mall on Hanley Avenue (next to the Food Court), at the Avista building on 15th Street, and in front of the Ace Hardware on Fourth Street.
