Upcoming Road Closures for Utility Construction in Fort Grounds Area

Beginning March 29th at 7:00 AM local time, Contractors for the City of Coeur d’Alene Wastewater Utility will be closing Garden Avenue between Military and Park Drive in the Fort Grounds Area to through traffic to replace the City’s deteriorated public sewer main. 

Road closure with detour signs and/or flaggers will be provided which may influence your daily commuting routes and times.  Garden Avenue will remain open to local traffic and emergency vehicles only.  During construction, some residents and businesses may be requested to park their vehicles at nearby locations.  We apologize in advance for this inconvenience. 

Presently, the City anticipates this project could take several weeks with a close date of April 14th.
