Ernest Hemingway will be the focus of a new Novel Destinations Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m., in the Community Room at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave.
A lifetime obsession drives Capt. David Kilmer and his wife, Rebecca, to chase Papa's legend through the streets of Key West and across the Gulf Stream to the long-forbidden shores of Cuba. They will share their story and photos during this program sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Public Library Foundation.
The “Novel Destinations” series was created by the Library Foundation to provide regional residents the opportunity to share photos and stories from trips around the world. Anyone interested in sharing a travelogue can contact the Foundation office at 208-769-2380 or by e-mail at [email protected].
