Warm temperatures and blue skies prompted the opening of the McEuen Park splash pad on Thursday, just in time for the long Memorial Day weekend.

The water features will be activated daily through the spring and summer from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The splash pad re-opened nearly one year after the reconstructed park was dedicated on May 24, 2014.

“It’s a nice way to get out and enjoy not just the splash pad, but all the great amenities that McEuen has to offer,” said Coeur d’Alene Parks and Recreation Director Steve Anthony.
