Each year, on the second Saturday of July, sponsors and volunteers host the Coeur d’Alene Parks Day. Parks Day is a celebration of the great parks system of Coeur d’Alene. By spotlighting two different parks each year, citizens can become familiar with different parks. In addition to free food and fun activities, selected organizations feature their community-minded efforts.

The Coeur d’Alene Urban Forestry Committee offers valuable information on trees, and gives away free tree seedlings at the event.
